Devon Aerial Solutions provides independent aerial inspection and assessment support for property owners, landlords, property managers, businesses, contractors, consultants and asset owners across Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and surrounding areas.
DAS was created for clients who need more than a folder of drone images. A drone can capture the view. DAS adds the judgement, structure and clarity around it.
We combine safe drone access, construction-informed thinking, engineering-aware review principles and controlled reporting to help clients understand visible property and asset issues before committing to repairs, maintenance, contractor instruction or further investigation.

Built from real construction, housing and infrastructure experience
DAS is led by Alex, Director of Devon Aerial Solutions.
Alex brings practical construction, civil engineering, housing, refurbishment, site management and project delivery experience across both residential and infrastructure environments.
That background includes hands-on housing works, home refurbishment, roofing interfaces, windows, water ingress concerns, drainage, access constraints and detailed finishing works, alongside experience involving bridges, culverts, retaining walls, highway-related environments and hard-to-access external assets.
This includes involvement in complex, high-value and multi-million-pound construction environments where detail, coordination, quality and next-step decision-making all matter.

Property problems are rarely isolated. A suspected leak, damaged chimney, blocked gutter, cracked wall, defective window detail, poor repair or hard-to-access structural concern needs to be understood in context.

DAS inspections are visual, external and non-intrusive unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We do not claim to identify hidden defects, replace intrusive investigation, provide statutory inspection, issue building control approval or provide formal structural sign-off unless a separate written scope and suitable appointment are in place.
Where something cannot be safely or clearly inspected, we say so. Where further specialist input is needed, we say so. Where a simple visual inspection is enough, we do not push clients into unnecessary additional reporting.
